Sally Mitchell RVN
After qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1991, she has worked in a wide range of veterinary practices with varying species. She moved into teaching veterinary education in 2005, returning to veterinary practice in March 2020. My interests include attending live music and festivals. She has five children, three cats and two dogs called Dave and Brian, who she enjoys walking with at the beach.
Stephanie Faulkner RVN
Stephanie qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2009 and has a keen interest in medical nursing and inpatient care. She really enjoys getting to know her patients and their owners. She enjoys teaching our student nurses and passing on the knowledge and skills she has learnt over the years. In her spare time Stephanie enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading and going to the gym.
Ariana Gooderham RVN
Ariana graduated from the RVC in 2013 with a BSC (hons) in Veterinary Nursing and joined us in 2020 after working in a local referral practice. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing especially surgical cases and lives at home with her Great Dane cross Peggy, two cats, guinea pigs and chickens. At weekends she can be found on long walks with her small children or baking in the kitchen.
Hayley Bigg RVN
Hayley qualified as a veterinary nurse in August 2017 after two years of studying at the College Of Animal Welfare. She has a keen interest in providing excellent inpatient care and lab work and is looking forward to developing these skills further at Melton. When Hayley is not busy working she enjoys spending time with her husband and decorating their new house. She also enjoys walking her dog Maxie, who is a Labrador, around the countryside in the village that she lives in.
Meg Cooper RVN
Meg joined the team in March 2017 having previously worked for the NHS. She began here as a receptionist and soon went on to complete her level 2 VCA course and has now passed her final exams to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. When she is not at work she is busy planning her wedding and caring for her three guinea pigs named Meryl, Beryl and Norman.
Patient Care Assistant
Rebecca joined the team in June 2021 as a patient care assistant, having completed a zoology degree at the University of Reading. Rebecca is looking forward to starting her training as a student veterinary nurse in September. In her spare time she likes reading Sci fi books, going on countryside walks and spending time with family and friends. She has always had family pets including two guinea pigs called Alby and Arthur.
